Forty years God led His people by the hand through the desert. Reading chapter 2 of Jeremiah has the sound of a broken heart!
That is what “struck” me today. I know that feeling, and it’s not pleasant.
While it’s easy to criticize these people, how often do we commit the same spiritual adultery, cheating on God and making him second to our own ambition and seeking of pleasure.
Thats my Takeaway Today.
