My favorite is #2. After salvation, what’s next? Answer, get to know God through Sanctification, develop a relationship with Him in a “good bible class” hearing Him and getting to know Him, developing a personal relationship with Him and letting His Holy Spirit sanctify you through the cleansing action of the Holy Spirit by the hearing and studying His Holy Word the Bible!!
Then, and only then, will His Holy Spirit be able to use and guide us effectively in a position of service to Him! Moses, Paul, and even Jesus preempted their time of service and ministry by spending a significant chunk of time communing with God! Remember when satan tempted Jesus?
He responded with Scripture. We need that same familiarity with Gods Word and the resulting close relationship with Him to effectively serve Him!
