The thing that struck me today in Jeremiah 37 to 39 was the time it took for God to judge Judah! He seemed both eager to give second chances and to minimize harm. They refused Gods words of advice, though, from Jeremiah to their own hurt in spite of being given ample warnings and time to repent!
