Make war to get what you want, or make allies to get what you want. Either way, you are doing it to get what YOU want at any price! The gist of todays study, in my understanding, is to do what God tells us is right. Think of David killing Goliath because He spoke against God and his people, or in the case of Moab, they made peace and an alliance with them when they were supposed to utterly destroy the pagan inhabitants of the land God had promised them. “Trust and obey” God is my Takeaway Today from Jeremiah 45 to 49.
