[18] The LORD is righteous; For I have rebelled against his commandment: Hear, I pray you, all people, And behold my sorrow: My virgins and my young men Are gone into captivity.
McGee doesn’t understand all this either, but we both know, without a doubt, that God is Righteous and Good! His Justice demands punishment for sin, and His goodness demands fear from the disobedient.
This is true regardless of our understanding of it and is my Takeaway Today from Lamentations 1!
