Avoid putting new converts on the podium just because they are famous, rich, or well known! To do so is to invite trouble and could even be damaging to a church. Having worked among wealthy people, its also apparent that many feel for some reason, their wealth makes them better and wiser than the poor folks around them, even fellow Christians.
Regardless, the concern is to NOT put any person in a position of leadership in the church who is not qualified or prepared to do so! Thats my Takeaway Today!
