Between being told the watchman who warns the people, (Ezekiel) isn’t responsible if they ignore the warning, but he is responsible if he neglects to warn them; Ezekiel made sure we knew that he had done his part
In warning the people, both of Jerusalem, and the surrounding nations!
The application here is that we are “watchmen” spreading the Word of God, warning people of the consequences of sin! That’s my Takeaway today.
May I add . . . If those we warn don’t believe we really do care about them based on our actions, our warnings are liable to be much less effective!
