It’s NOT like he wasn’t warned! Nebuchadnezzars dream gave him a heads up on what would happen if he didn’t humble himself! To me the real miracle is that God healed and redeemed him after 7 years! God is a God of multiple SECOND CHANCES!
This verse comes to mind,
2 Peter 3:9 KJV
[9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
