Do you believe this passage describes Jesus? I do! What really struck me is How Jesus seems to want to spend extended time alone with those He seeks to use. My Takeaway Today is that perhaps I should look at my “aloneness” at this stage of my life as an opportunity to spend time with Him in the fellowship of His Word and in prayer as opposed to feeling sorry for myself!
I should see being “alone” as really a blessing and an opportunity to get closer to Him!
