Trying to wrap my head around this passage!
As I understand it, (incomplete at best) Melchisedek is a “type” of Christ in that; He was NOT an “Aaronic” priest or even a Jew, he was a “step better” than that in that Christ’s priesthood was modeled after Melchisedek as something better than the Jewish priesthood.
That is what I think is my Takeaway Today.
May I say I enjoyed his dry humor sprinkled in there too?! 😆
