Hosea 7

Hosea used lots of figurative language to describe the sinfulness of the Jewish people in his time.
He says “They are all hot as an oven” to describe how they stoked up their sinful passions to a feverish pitch.
This is not unlike our culture today. I heard that while Hollywood makes bigger profit margins with cartoons, they insist on producing the smut they call entertainment for everyone to see even when it isn’t as profitable!
Add on to that the freely available porn industry that clearly targets broken homes where “step” someone plays a role in gross immorality depicted for all to see in almost every title!
His comment about “call girls” and “call boys” made me aware that we have “progressed” since his time. Now we have ” “trans” and all that evil foolishness being spoon fed to our kids in our schools and libraries too!
Our sinfullness is indeed “hot as an oven.”
Do you think our country will be punished as well?
