“It came to pass, but it didn’t come to stay!” I’m claiming that verse for myself and laughing at this illustration concurrently!

I think James is an appropriate book to also point out that we will each receive a degree of reward or punishment based on our “Works”,  above and beyond our salvation based on our decision to follow Jesus Christ.
