I wouldn’t have thought that Lot was a “righteous man” either, but Peter makes it clear that he was, and that is why God delivered him. But for Jesus saving me, I’m not sure I would be considered righteous either. I’m comforted and encouraged that He can deliver me out of temptation as well! Aren’t you?
