I Make sense of #8 in this way.

To say in Spanish “in two weeks” we say “de hoy en 15 dias.” Which translated is “in 15 days including today” but it means “in two weeks” even if  it is 7pm today!

In the same way Friday was the First day of Jesus’ death, even though a partial day, Saturday, was a complete day in that in included the dark first and next day light (full 24 hours) and He Rose sometime about daylight (half way through/in the morning of the 3rd day, of Sunday!)

Jesus was dead during All THREE days! (Just as Jonah was three days in the fish. . .”)
