1 John 2:3-8

     I sure would like to see my Love of God perfected. I remember as a child I had trouble with and felt guilty about not feeling a “rush of Love” when approaching  God.  At the same time, I’m a little confused about “new commandment” and “No new commandment,” and why the contrast? I am clear on keeping His Commandments as a way to show my love, and that trials and troubles, like cancer, only serve to strengthen  my love for Him.  I become aware in troubled times of just how much He cares for me.
