James Will Lead Us In Prayer
“James Will Lead Us In Prayer” Sunday Sermon talks about a unique epistle authored probably by Jesus’ half-brother James.90% of the time, we don’t know if a decision is Gods will! I loved the point that this keeps us close to Him as we watch carefully as time passes to see if we are staying…

Hosea 8-9:6 ttb.org
We often conflate prosperity with God’s blessings. If you look at Israel at this time, they couldn’t be further from God!Apparently, Hoseas warnings here fell on deaf ears, just like it doesn’t seem to affect us in our country today.Have you noticed that people seem more apt to turn to God in times of disaster…

Hosea 7
Hosea used lots of figurative language to describe the sinfulness of the Jewish people in his time.He says “They are all hot as an oven” to describe how they stoked up their sinful passions to a feverish pitch. This is not unlike our culture today. I heard that while Hollywood makes bigger profit margins with cartoons,…

Hosea 5
[6] They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them. https://bible.com/bible/1/hos.5.6.KJV This verse seems so sad to me! I hope to never reach this place with God!How about you?

Saturday Q&A
I agree with the answer to #6 , denomination is less important than how seriously/literally you believe the Bible. We have believers and unbelievers in just about all denominations! What stood out to you?

Hosea 4:6-18
I finally dragged my backside out of bed around 9:30 ! I am SO ashamed Did you like the “backsliding heifer” illustration? Sometimes, I resemble that illustration!“Well, Dr. McGee convinced me of the joy and peace found in living a quiet and righteous life before the Lord. How about you?”Thanks, Steve!!! ❤️

Hosea 3:1 – 4:6
It struck me today that when God “gives up or let’s go” of a nation in sin, even the land is punished and suffers for their sins. Are we as a country in danger of losing the blessings from God? I think we can pretty much count on it!

Hosea 3:4 -4:2 Switching to the prophetic part of Hosea today.Do you think Israel will have to be put out of the land again before the “Last Days.” He seems to make a pretty strong case that is how it is supposed to go down.

Hosea 2
This book is such a great object lesson for us of How our rejection of Him must make Him feel! Are we out flirting with the world when we should be prioritizing our time and our hearts towards God and His Word?Let’s return to our first love with Him. Let Him be enough for us each…

Saturday Q&A
#6 I really appreciate TTB’s policy about not begging for money all the time or sending junk mail. I also think their continued success in being funded regardless is a clear indication of Gods blessing. What did you guys find interesting?

Hosea chapter 1
God actually asked Hosea to disobey the Mosaic law and marry Gomer. I guess you can do that when You are God! True, but it made me laugh. . . and think. How about you?

Hosea intro part 2
I’m with McGee on how he ended today’s sermon on Hosea and Gomer. She sinned against the one who loved her! She turned against Love!God sent him back after her multiple times just like He pursues us, despite our repeated “whoredoms” against Him.I agree McGee, I pray Gomer DID return to Hosea after the book ended!

Intro to Hosea.
I’m looking forward to learning from Hosea. I found the introduction from one of his sermons to be a nice change of pace from the daily studies as well.We really ignore the seriousness of adultery and take far too lightly the consequences of it these days. What did you think about his comments on why…
