‭I loved the article they read about Maria from europe this morning. Her Dad just gave her a usb stick and a player and let the Holy Spirit do the rest!
This concept is echoed in verse 2 of 2 Thesalonians 3.

[1] Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

We need to pray (may I ask you to join me in praying each day for those listening to ttb.org ?) that people respond freely to the teaching of the Word of God as we virtually read, listen, and study together. Let the Holy Spirit do the “heavy lifting” of Evangelism, I’m gonna chill out a bit, just hand  it out, and pray and praise God as folks respond to it as Maria did!

    I’m going to put “RT’s” comment as an example.

    My takeaway is kinda simple but I’m guilty of overlooking it. It is to pray for your pastor. One of the books I’ve been reading lately had a section in it that said the same thing. So many snares the devil throws at our pastors to make them stumble, fall, etc. Idk if this is a takeaway, but I need to be a little bolder in my faith-The Faith. I’ve been kinda stand off-ish from my colleagues. One reason is that we live out of their geographical circle (more out of the city), but another “glaring” reason is that we (Ben and I) don’t drink, and that’s what a lot of people around here do for fun, to relax, to socialize.I have almost become embarrassed about not socially drinking until McGee mentioned verse 6 that “commands” us to “withdraw from every brother who walks disorderly and not according to the traditions he received from us.” We don’t have to be like the world to give them the opportunity to see Christ in us. Sometimes, just our presence, our actions or reactions are enough. There has been multiple times this year that I have had colleagues tell me, “you’re a much better person than me, cuz I’m that situation, I would have done…”. I would never have a good response to them, but now I think I can gently remind them (referring to those who say they are Christians), “be in the world, not of it.”
